Bio Chemistry Laboratories

University of Colorado at Boulder

​Pelsue Architecture has designed several biochemistry research laboratories for the University of Colorado at Boulder. Each laboratory has been customized to suit the specific research needs of the scientists who will occupy the space. The University desired that the laboratories be both specific to the needs of the researcher and universal in appearance. Flexible work stations were incorporated into the design to allow future occupants to modify the space to their requirements. Colors and materials were standardized while the laboratory layout was customized for the researcher.

Each laboratory is a renovation within a 165,000 sq. ft. building in the heart of the Boulder Campus. Design requirements included the use of campus utilities and building utilities to complete the project.
